Tendillas is the more practical central option with easier access, restaurants and a flatter connection toward the modern centre. Choose the **riverside near the Roman Bridge** for atmosphere with slightly less old-town intensity.

If you are in Córdoba for one night, sleeping inside or beside the Jewish Quarter makes sense. The Mezquita-Catedral, Calleja de las Flores, synagogue area and Roman Bridge are close enough that arrival day and departure morning both remain useful.

The main compromise is visitor traffic during the day. Check whether your hotel sits on a heavily trafficked lane and how taxis or luggage reach it.

Around Plaza de las Tendillas you are still within walking distance of the old city but have easier access to shops, restaurants, taxis and the broader modern centre. For travellers with luggage or an early departure, this convenience can beat maximum medieval atmosphere.

Hotels around the river and Roman Bridge create a strong evening setting and keep the Mezquita close. This is a good couples' option when you want historic atmosphere without sleeping inside the busiest old-town lanes.

San Basilio is closely associated with Córdoba's patio culture and offers a quieter residential feel near the Alcázar side of the historic centre. It makes more sense for two-night stays than one-night transfer stops.

Choose **Judería** for a first one-night visit and **Tendillas** when easy access matters more than romance. Córdoba is compact enough that neither choice breaks the itinerary.
