Le Marais

Le Marais is the strongest all-round first-trip base because the Seine, central Right Bank, museums, restaurants and evening streets overlap well. It also keeps several metro options nearby.

Saint-Germain

Choose Saint-Germain for Left Bank atmosphere, cafes, Luxembourg access and easy walks toward the Seine. It is a premium location but very easy for a three- or four-night trip.

The 1st and central Right Bank
